Taco Tuesday was good! $1.50 for fish tacos. Very nice service. I will definitely come back.

This place is a Mexican seafood gem. Consistent, fresh and delicious. From their fish tacos, deep fried whole fish or ceviches, you will be impressed. Portion sizes are generous and prices are gentle on the wallet. My go to is the fish ceviche, they have specials most days of week, including Taco Tuesday. Cervezas are always perfectly cold and micheladas deliciously rimmed with favorites. The service is to the point and on time. It's a perfect all in the family ambience or to raise a glass in friendship.

I have to say this place is one of the very best Mariscos in all of San Diego, maybe even Southern California! Very clean and the service is warm and friendly! The Chimichanga Seafood Mix was fantastic with the chipotle! Large succulent shrimp and the wrap was light and crispy. I am thoroughly impressed. I will come back.

Great little spot for authentic Mexican money schools. I had the shrimp cóctel. It was just as expected-delicious. Chips and salsa are great bonus. Our server was super attentive too

My family and I have been coming to Hector's for nearly 20 years and they have yet to disappoint. The food is always on point, as well as their service. We even made it a point to take advantage of their take-out service during the pandemic -- so thankful they survived! My favorite go-to is their deliciously refreshing campechana coctel (shrimp, octopus, clams, scallops & topped with an oyster). A close second is their grilled seafood combination (grilled fish, shrimp, calamari, octopus, scallops, onions & mushrooms), this is our family's favorite. So flavorful and huge enough to share. A recent delicious discovery (thanks to my stubborn 4 year-old who insisted on carne asada) was their carne asada burrito! I know...carne asada burrito at a mariscos restaurant, but let me tell you it is by far one of the best I've ever had! Stuffed with juicy chary, grilled carne asada, sliced avocado and a light sprinkle of pico de gallo...absolute perfection!! Their chimichangas are pretty bomb as well! Oh! And one more thing...they have a great Taco Tuesday deal ($1.50) on their Baja-style fish tacos (9am-9pm).

Affordable prices my wife and I ordered 1 huachinango al mojo de ajo $30, 6 ousters $15, $3 for a soda, +tax, I end up paying $60.00 including tips. FOOD WAS AMAZING!!! & Super fast. SERVICE: they could do better, in more than a couple of times, I almost stand, and get more lemons and tortillas by myself (they only serve 3 per order). AMBIENCE is nice, I expected more traditional BANDA MUSIC but someone likes reguetón there; and that breaks the tradition of the Mexican MARISQUERÍA feeling. four stars because, next time I have to bring my own tortillas from home (3 tortillas are for kids meals) I am a grown man. And use headphones with banda sinaloense while eating. PS: I ordered a mussels plate for my wife, but the waiter forgot and never delivered. They didn't charged so we are ok. I also forget stuff when I am working.
